A PRACTICAL APPROACH
The right preparation belongs alongside the work itself. Each package has its own drawings, site conditions and completion requirements.
Scope and drawings
The drawings, existing services and site constraints give the installation its context. Discuss the work required, interfaces with other trades and the records needed for the package.
Preparation and coordination
Identify suitable off-site fabrication, work to the relevant isometric schematics and coordinate workshop stock with suppliers. Plan the equipment and delivery logistics around the site work.
Installation and checks
Complete the agreed installation, connections, testing and snagging. At HubSpot House, our package included filling, testing and snagging after the heating, chilled-water and fan coil unit connections.
Records and handover
Photographic progress and constraint records support the site work. Agree the drawing references, test records and completion information required for each package with the project contractor.
